If you drive a Toyota Hybrid, you might want to call your dealership.

According to autoblog.com, Toyota is recalling about 752,000 gas/electric hybrid cars worldwide.  The report says the engines can lose power and stall.

The recall is for certain 2013 and 2015 Prius and 2014 to 2017 Prius V hybrids.  Click here to see if your car is on the list.

I remember once when my car lost power and stalled.  It was NOT a Toyota or a prius.  It was another type of car that shall remain nameless.  I hated that vehicle.  I was going down 95 in to Boston, cruising along at about 80 MPH in the passing lane when my car started to sputter and lose power.  It was heavy traffic at the time and I was in a panic.  What should I do?!!  I immediately put my blinker, but no one would let me pull over!  My car was losing power by the second!  75, 70, 65, 55, 40!  Finally, the driver in the next lane noticed I was slowing down and waved me over.  Then I had to get through two more lanes to the breakdown lane!  OH!!  VERY scary.  I finally made it with no shortage of honking and hand gestures to the breakdown lane and the car was completely dead.

Thankfully, I had AAA, but NO CELL PHONE!  OH!  When I saw those blue lights pull up behind me to find out what was the matter, I could not have been more thankful.  The Mass State Trooper called a tow truck and after about an hour, I was finally off the highway.

When I got to the tow place, via police cruiser, (thank you Officer Awesome) I found out that my car LITERALLY died and I could not drive it anymore.

What an ordeal!

If you potentially own one of these cars, the report says you will be notified in August.
