Shark in the Park 2025 is a free community concert series featuring local bands of Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts on Wednesday nights throughout the months of July and beginning of August at Henry Law Park in Dover, New Hampshire, from 6-8pm.

Tonight is our last show for 2025!

Shark in the Park 2025's Last Band of the Series:  Rosie

Rosie Has Been in the Music Scene for a Long Time

Al Silva, the drummer and Hank Decken, lead guitarist, vocals, have been playing together for 45 years.  Tim Matthews is the bass player in the band as well.

This video is hilarious and awesome in all the best ways!

Rosie's best gig?  That's a tough one.

  • Al told me about a couple gigs that he did - one was an event they did for disabled vets.  Al choked up when he talked about how the vets loved their music so much and the happiness they were able to put on their faces is something he won't forget.
  • Another was at Bentley's in Arundel, Maine for the annual Barbara Bush Children's Charity Motorcycle run when they got to hang out with President George W. Bush and the first lady, Barbara Bush.
Thank you to ROSIE for joining us for Shark in the Park!

Grab a blanket and grab a hot dog from Dover Dogs and join us on tonight, August 6,  from 6-8pm at Henry Law Park in Dover.

A huge thank you to our Partners of Shark in the Park:

That's a wrap for Shark in the Park 2025!

Next year is the Shark's 25th Anniversary!  What band would you like to see?
