Rosie Has Been in the Music Scene for a Long Time
Al Silva, the drummer and Hank Decken, lead guitarist, vocals, have been playing together for 45 years. Tim Matthews is the bass player in the band as well.
This video is hilarious and awesome in all the best ways!
Rosie's best gig? That's a tough one.
- Al told me about a couple gigs that he did - one was an event they did for disabled vets. Al choked up when he talked about how the vets loved their music so much and the happiness they were able to put on their faces is something he won't forget.
- Another was at Bentley's in Arundel, Maine for the annual Barbara Bush Children's Charity Motorcycle run when they got to hang out with President George W. Bush and the first lady, Barbara Bush.
Grab a blanket and grab a hot dog from Dover Dogs and join us on tonight, August 6, from 6-8pm at Henry Law Park in Dover.
