I was raised by two teachers therefore educators hold a near and dear place in my heart. Every Summer, before the school year started, I would watch my parents dip into their own pockets and spend money on school supplies, classroom decorations, things to make their students' lives a little easier or more fun, you name it! Even at a young age I said to myself "that ain't right!" Teachers have such an important job and so often they are under appreciated and majorly underpaid. That's why I love seeing places do nice things for teachers because THEY DESERVE IT!

Wendy Ann posted in the You KNOW you're from Rochester, NH if you..Facebook group to spread the word that Ocean State Job Lot in Rochester is giving away FREE hand sanitizer to teachers and educators today only. And they are not going to limit you either, you can take as much as you need! The sign says so!

According to the Ocean State Job Lot Rochester Facebook page, this is all part of educator week which ends tomorrow! They have had discounts and promotions exclusively for teachers all week long. When you spend $20 or more you receive 40% back as a "crazy deal" gift card.

The educators in our communities have been through a lot with this pandemic. The least we can do is hook them up with supplies so they don't have to spend their own hard earned money! Thank you teachers! We appreciate all that you do.
