Opening Statements Heard in the Roland Dow Assault Case [NEWS]

( Brentwood, N.H. ) - Opening statements in the assault trial  of Roland Dow were heard today. Dow is charged with severely beating and burning his girlfriend's 3-year-old son in 2012. Prosecutors showed the jury photographs of the 3 year old boy as a happy toddler and then with head to toe bruises, a burned hand, and a brain injury that left him nearly blind. The defense says the state is relying on the boy's mother , Jessica Linscott, who has a history of lying.
