Police have released a sketch of a person of interest in the death of Stephen and Djeswende Reid on a trail near their Concord apartment building nearly one month ago, and raised a reward for information.

The couple was found shot to death in the Broken Ground Trails area on April 19 after being reported missing by their family. Detectives said the couple went for a walk on the trail the day before they were found.

The person of interest was seen in the area of the trail where the couple went for a walk. He is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5’10” tall, medium build with short brown hair, and clean-shaven. He was wearing a dark blue jacket (possibly with a hood), khaki-colored pants, and carrying a black backpack.

Concord Crimeline also increased the reward to $35,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person(s) responsible for the murders.

$20,000 was donated by an anonymous donor for anyone who comes forward with information within the next 60 days. An additional $5,000 came from another anonymous donor. The Concord Police Patrolmen’s Association and Supervisors Association, as well as the Retired New Hampshire State Police Troopers Association, have also contributed to the reward.

Attorney General John Formella asked anyone with information to call Concord Police at 603-225-8600 or Concord Regional Crimeline at 603-226-3100.
