It’s official.  Portsmouth has gone to the dogs.

Seacoastonline reports that the Ri Ra Irish Pub and Restaurant at 22 Market Square has opened its patio to dogs and humans and has introduced a menu for dogs-only, including an unseasoned beef patty with peas and carrots, grilled chicken breast, peanut butter and oat biscuit with Greek yogurt and chopped bacon.

The dogs are even served personally by the waitstaff, the article reports.

I wonder what type of tip a dog would leave.  Better leave that part to the human.

Looks like the dog-friendly restaurant is brimming with employees that love pets as much as I do.

According to seacoastonline, the sign outside Ri Ra Irish Pub reads “dogs welcome, people tolerated.”  Which pretty much sums up my house.

While the menu is starting out simple with just a small selection, it puts a whole new spin on the term “doggie bag.”

Now your favorite furry friend won’t have to wait for you to get home with leftovers, he/she can have their own meal with you!

The patio menu is offered daily from 11 am to 10:30 pm, weather permitting.
