Recycled Percussion’s Justin Spencer Leaves a 1,000 Dollar Check at His Childhood Home in Loudon , NH
This story reminds me of the Miranda Lambert song "The House That Build Me". The only difference is Miranda just wanted to poke around her childhood home she didn't mention leaving a 1,000 dollar check! (lol) When I read Justin Spencer's Facebook post, the lyric "I got lost in this big old world and forgot who I am" came to mind.
Justin Spencer is the creator of the Manchester based band "Recycled Percussion". He does so much for the people of New Hampshire through his show Chaos and Kindness. A lot of negative stuff has been happening in the world so Justin hopped on his Harley to take a ride and clear his mind. He rode his bike to a trailer park in Loudon, New Hampshire. The trailer he is standing in front of in the photo below means a lot to him. He lived there from the ages of 8-11.
He knocked on the door to introduce himself but no one answered. He slipped a $1,000 check under the door with a note that said “I grew up in this house”. He said:
Sometimes when you are lost you need to retrace your steps. I’m sure in this day and age whoever lives there can use any help they can get. ❤️.
Wow! That must have made their day! Have you been back to visit your childhood home?
