Well, here we go. Red Sox Manager John Farrell made the announcement yesterday that starting pitcher David Price is experiencing some elbow and forearm soreness in his pitching arm.

The extent of the injury is not known at this time and Price will seek a second opinion from Tommy John surgery specialist, Dr. James Andrews.

Certainly not good news at all, however we don't know much yet. The Sox probably won't need Price to win the AL East, thanks to the addition of Chris Sale, but to win a World Series they will definitely need him in the rotation.

Stay tuned Red Sox Nation!
