57 year old, Geralda De Matos Garland of Revere, Mass was arrested and charged with alleged human trafficking, among other charges, according to a report from WCVB. She was running Crystal's Day Spa in Revere and is accused of recruiting victims, advertising paid sex and made a profit from the illegal activity.

The WCVB report quoted Attorney General Maura Healey as saying:

During the course of the investigation, authorities developed evidence indicating that Garland allegedly ran a profitable and organized criminal enterprise through Crystal’s Day Spa, which she owned and set up as a front for human trafficking.

Garland's bail was set for $50,000 cash and she's due in court for a probable cause hearing on May 11th.
