Rochester Woman Charged in Prescription Medication Theft

(Rochester, NH) - New Hampshire State Police have charged a Rochester woman with theft by unauthorized taking.

32 year old Diane L. Smith was arrested Monday by the State Police Narcotics and Investigations, Drug Diversion Unit.

After a month-long investigation, Smith was charged with 5 counts of Theft By Unauthorized Taking. She allegedly took Psuedophedrine from a Pyxis machine belonging to a medical facility in Dover.

Smith was freed on $2500 personal recognizance bail pending a court appearance in March.
