For a bargain, you could own a store where the world famous baseball legend hit a home run.

Major League Baseball is about a month into the season, and many regional series are firing up in the month of May. One, the Sanford Mainers will start their 2019 season in Goodall Park next month. It was there where the Great Bambino himself, Babe Ruth blasted a gigantic home run over the fence in 1919, shortly before being sold to the New York Yankees. Yes, one of the final acts before the Curse of the Bambino settled in can be linked to this York County City. Per the Mainers' website, Ruth "caught the old pill and sailed it over the right field fence, thirty feet or more inside the foul line and with a clearance of full forty feet."

A few more feet, and it would've landed in the backyard of what became "Babe's Store." Per Realtor.com, the estate is being sold as is, known as Babe's store. With some TLC this 4 bedroom 1 bath with a garage on almost a half an acre in town could be brought back to life.
