Snow Returns On First Full Day Of Spring

(Dover, NH) - Spring officially arrived Sunday, but Mother Nature has other plans for us as winter weather has returned, bringing up to a half-foot of wet snow to parts of Coastal New England.

Forecasters had earlier called for 2 to 4 inches along the coast and 1 to 3 inches inland, but a few heavy squalls dropped that much in just a short time this morning.

Slick roads led to numerous accidents and a long list of school and event cancellations and delays.

Skies are expected to clear, with rising temperatures and the snow should be gone by mid week.
