Steve Carell Spotted Shopping in Boston
He's back in New England, again, but that's no surprise, as Steve Carell grew up in suburban Boston in Acton. His New England roots run deep.
According to the TV Guide channel, Steve was even a mailman with the United States Postal Service in Littleton, Massachusetts. According to the interview, he quit after seven months because his boss told him he wasn't fast enough.
I wonder what his former boss now thinks of his "The Office," "Anchorman," and "The Morning Show," fame, just to name a few shows and movies.
Anyway, the actor was not only spotted on vacation in Maine this summer, but was just seen at the Chestnut Hill Mall in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. His daughter goes to Northeastern University, according to Celebrity Mirror, and even in these latest photos snapped by Boston-based Hospitality and Lifestyle Publicist Nicole Maffeo Russo, you see Steve sporting a Northeastern University hat.
Steve also owns a little general store in Marshfield Hills, Massachusetts, so it's not much of a surprise to see him outside of Hollywood and hanging out here in New England.
Anyway, back to the latest Steve sighting. Nicole spotted him in the Chestnut Hill Mall at Bloomingdales, a very small, high-end mall nestled between Brookline and Newton.
Here's what she had to say on Twitter about her Steve photos.
Steve, being from the Boston area, knows that Nicole is right on the money. As a matter of fact, I read that when he's at the store he owns in Marshfield, you can sometimes catch him stocking shelves.
