Steve Miller Band Cancels New Hampshire Tour Date For Weather Reasons, But Fans Suspect Another Reason
Well that stinks. Literally, some say it smells like something else is going on.
Steve Miller Band has issued a cancellation of all dates on their upcoming tour that was slated to start in August, 2025, including the date at BankNH Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire that was scheduled.
Steve Miller Band Cancels Tour Because of the Weather
The band issued a statement that said in part,
Always trust your instincts... The Steve Miller Band has cancelled all of our upcoming tour dates. The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires make these risks for you, our audience, the band and the crew, unacceptable. So, you can blame it on the weather, the tour is cancelled.
Here's what people are saying - from his Facebook post:
The only way you don’t make a gig, is a death in the family, yours!! Love you, Steve, but something else is going on.... somethings up.
Steve is old, he wants to stay home. I get it, I want to stay home too.
Sounds like a terrible excuse. Is Steve Miller sick?
Kyle said, in reference to a Steve Miller song:
Does this include the shows in Phoenix, ArizonaAll the way to TacomaPhiladelphia, Atlanta, L.A.?
Steve Miller is 81 Years Old
You have to remember, the guy is 81 years old. He can do whatever he wants at this stage. Even if the weather isn't the real reason, who cares. He has earned the right to do whatever he wants. If he needs a break, he needs a break.
