The 'free' Parrott Avenue Parking lot could see meters soon.

The famous comedian took issue with a parking ticket he received while visiting Portsmouth, and published a full-page open letter in the latest Seacoast Summer Guide.

Portsmouth City Council has approved the construction of a second parking garage for downtown. The $23.2 million parking garage plan passed unanimously.

I'm not normally a fan of the 3 lane cut over, but I've got to give this Russian driver credit. No harm- no foul. I'm going to try this maneuver next time I'm driving in Portsmouth with the Shark van. Gotta jump when you see an open parking space...
