One of my favorite places to go, no matter where I go, is an art gallery.  I just love everything about it. I love looking at a painting from Monet, Manet, Sorolla or John Singer Sargent (big Impressionist fan) and wonder about their life while I marvel at their work.

  • How does he/she get this flat surface to come alive and look 3D?
  • Why is this cube considered art?
  • I could probably do that.

These are just a few of the thoughts in my head when I visit a gallery.

One of my favorite galleries, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, is opening up again this Saturday after being closed for months during the pandemic, according to an article from Bostonglobe.com.

The article states that you have to buy advance tickets before you go, available at mfa.org or by calling 800-440-6975.  No tickets will be sold at the MFA, you have to purchase them in advance online or by calling that number.

Their website also states that you have to wear a mask inside and outside of the MFA grounds.

The foliage is supposed to be amazing this weekend, so why not take the back roads down to bean town with your "purchased in advance" ticket to the MFA!  Sounds like a good time to me!

Oh, by the way.... in my off time, I try to paint, Bob Ross is my hero, no joke.
