The Best 5 Movies Ever Filmed Here In New England (IMHO)

Watching a good movie is one of my favorite pastimes.  It's even better when I know that the film's location is right here in New England.

The list is long and if you tried to name a few, you might guess, "What About Bob" starring Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss.  Nope.  Not one of them.

Sure, the film talks about Richard Dreyfuss' character having a summer home in New Hampshire, which is the setting for most of the film, however, the movie was filmed in Virginia, so says Wiki.  Production had to move South because the leaves were already beginning to change when they started to film

The following list was very hard for me to come to.

I made a list of many that included Manchester By The Sea, the Town, Mystic River, Spotlight and The Fighter.  ("Do it for LOWELL!"  One of my favorite all time lines in film...)

But, eventually, I was able to come up with just 5 of the Best.

These films were shot partially, if not entirely, here in New England.
