The population in Strafford County rose 0.5 percent. Belknap went up 0.4, Merrimack 0.4, Rockingham 0.4 and Hillsborough 0.3.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Hillsborough County is the most populous and added the most people with 1,339 over the period.
