This Weekend: Spend a Whimsical Afternoon in Massachusetts With Fairies in an Enchanted Forest on Pettengill Farm
It's been two years since we could wander through lush grounds and an enchanted forest in Salisbury, Massachusetts. I'm talking about the sixth annual Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk at the historic Pettengill Farm.
But it's back on April 23-24, and you can wonder through the enchanted forest and marsh filled with around 200 fairy and gnome homes along a one-mile wooded path.
This is part of the Salisbury Art Stroll, with free crafts and activities spread throughout the farm's expansive front lawn.
The meticulously-created fairy and gnome homes are built and designed by school children, businesses, and professionals. Live music will accompany the day, along with story time and improv theatre for everyone to enjoy before or after looking at the little houses.
Munch or dine from the food trucks as well, while taking in the local artists and their work at this festival. By the way, it's extra fun when you or your children actually spot the fairies and gnomes meandering around the forest dancing or singing.

By the way, if you're not familiar with Pettengill Farm, it's a family-run historic flower farm dating back to 1792.
We have 13 greenhouses growing a breathtaking array of colorful unusual annuals and perennials, and vegetables for your gardens and containers. Our Garden Maintenance Division, Petal Pushers is also ready to help you clean, prepare and even plan out your new or existing garden dreams.
