USA Today released its top Fall festivals of 2019, and The Vermont Pumpkin Chuckin' Festival in Stowe stole the top spot!

It is exactly what it sounds like. Competitors gather from New England and beyond to see who can launch a pumpkin the furthest with a makeshift catapult.

According to Boston.com the event also includes live music from a band called House Dunn & John Smyth, a chili cook-off and tons of fun activities for the kids aka little pumpkins.

A New Hampshire Festival also made the list: the NH Pumpkin Festival in Laconia came in at number 6! (not too shabby!)

There is no shortage of fun things to do this time of year! Give me a sunny day and a pumpkin beer with a cinnamon sugar rim and I am happy as a clam.

What is your favorite Fall festival to attend in New England?
