Top 5 Dirtiest Sports Venues Includes New England

Before I start, I want you to know that I have good news, too, in this latest study about sports stadiums and parks across the country.  This research compiled for the dirtiest, cleanest, and food safety issue statistics with professional sports stadiums, arenas, and parks around the country comes from fans.

According to Betsperts, the study analyzed fan reviews to determine the top 10 dirtiest and cleanest sports venues in America, as well as the ones with the most and least food safety issues. Good hygiene, although always crucial, is definitely something we're more aware of than ever before.  I still can't believe that videos reminding adults about good hygiene and hand-washing became a thing during the pandemic, but I digress.

As any sports fan who goes to games knows, the interaction with the food facilities and restrooms is something we definitely notice, especially if it's really clean or absolutely filthy.

Sadly, the top five aren't far apart, but luckily, there's just enough of a difference that here in New England, we can claim that three stadiums are dirtier than Gillette Stadium.

Yes, according to Betsperts, Gillette is #4, followed by the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers at #5.  #1 is the RingCentral Coliseum in Oakland, where its baseball team, the Athletics, play.  FedExField, where the NFL's Washington Commanders play, is #2, and that third spot is Wells Fargo Center in Philly, where their NHL team the Flyers and NBA team the 76ers both play.  Now for the good news.  When it comes to the lowest food safety violations, Gillette is also #4.  Phew!
