Trick Photography at Dawn in Dover, NH: Is This Really a Sunrise?

Taken at 5:45 AM EST, outside The Bob Fuller Media Center in Dover, NH. Is it the sun, or the moon. The answer may surprise you!

My camera lens was pointed West, THEREFORE ... It's the moon!

With the naked eye, this moon rise appeared to be much larger and a Halloween like deep orange color. My smart phone seemed to transform it into the Sun!

It will not be officially Full until 7:51 TONIGHT! So please take advantage of this wonderful 'Worm Moon' and check it out.

2018 has been a very unique year for the lunar cycle as this month will have two full moons (the 2nd full moon in one month is called a Blue Moon) just as January did.
