According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Pats may be without their Rookie Defensive End, Derek Rivers, for the rest of the 2017 season.

Rivers was injured during practice on Wednesday in West Virginia and was flown back to Boston for an MRI shortly thereafter.

He may have suffered a torn ACL and a sprained LCL according to ESPN.

The Pats are already strapped for players at this position with the retirement of Rob Ninkovich a couple weeks ago.

It will be interesting to see how Belichick handles the roster (if this prognostication is accurate) but I'm sure if anyone is up to the task, it's the man in 'The Hoodie'.
