Cooper, the 2-year old Shih Tzu thrown from a car in Manchester, is recovering at the Manchester Animal Shelter but is not yet available for adoption.

The dog was thrown from the car on Friday and was quickly rescued by a woman who witnessed the tragedy. Cooper was rushed to the local veterinarian hospital by the good samaritan, and is now situated in the Manchester Animal Shelter.

Thankfully poor little Cooper is not injured but as you can see in the video, is cleary shaken up.

Originally it was reported that cooper was in need of a good home but that's not the case just yet. Here is an explanation from the Manchester Animal Shelter on Facebook:

I'm sure when the dust settles, and the holding period is up, Cooper will need to find a home.

Now, WHAT KIND OF A PERSON THROWS A DOG OUT THE WINDOW OF A MOVING VEHICLE?!?

This kind of senseless animal abuse really ticks me off. If you can't take care of the dog, for whatever reason, take it to a shelter. That's one of the many reasons they exist. Better yet, if you're too much of a coward to show your face, at least drop it off at the door step of the shelter.

Whoever did this needs to be caught and thrown from a moving vehicle. The Shark Van has a big side door and would be perfect for any size human throwing.
