Use Your Ticketmaster Vouchers on These New England Concerts

The Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster class action lawsuit settlement is giving customers discounts and free ticket vouchers to certain events. Here are the eligible Live Nation shows playing at the Xfinity Center in Massachusetts.

Ticketmaster customers might find a nice little bonus in their accounts this week, but only because the company has been nickel and diming them over the years.

The ticket sales and distribution company recently setlled a $400 million class action lawsuit over "exorbitant fees charged for things like order processing and shipping costs." Over 50 million customers, who bought tickets between Oct. 21, 1999 and Feb. 27, 2013, are covered in Schlesinger et al vs. Ticketmaster.

Part of the settlement includes $2.25 credit towards ticket purchases, but that is a paltry sum compared to what they have been charging customers for their "services." They are also giving out a $5 UPS voucher for those who used UPS delivery during that time.

The better end of the deal are the free ticket vouchers they are giving out. Unfortunately, Ticketmaster chooses what Live Nation shows the vouchers are good for and are not making any guarantees on availability. A full list of eligible events can be found here.

The closest venue for New Englanders is the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA. Country fans will have a lot to choose from, but the rest of the choices are a tiny potpourri of musical choices.
