What Happens to Loudon the Lobster After the Race in NH Each Year?

Loudon the lobster is a unique trophy given to winners each year at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Historically speaking, Loudon has been a big fella ranging anywhere between 18 and 28 pounds! (That's a lot of lobster rolls) This tradition has been alive since 2010.

But I couldn't help but wonder after the photos are taking with the prized crustacean, what happens to him?

According to sources, it's up to the winning driver. Many of them choose to feast on it because they can get up to 6 pounds of lobster meat from a lobster that size. And some of them choose to mount them on their walls! It is a trophy after all. Why shouldn't it be on display?
