Whether it's fathers and sons or auto enthusiasts, the bad news comes again for the third year in a row: the cancellation of the New England International Auto Show.  The last time they all poured into the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center was in January of 2020.

From funky, fast, and cool, to everything in between, the several-day event attracts anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000 car fanatics annually.

Not surprisingly, the 2021 show in Boston was cancelled due to COVID.  So why was it cancelled again in 2022, and now 2023?

According to the New England International Auto Show, a lack of manufacturer and dealer inventory for vehicles meant several had to pull out of the show for the second year in row since the COVID pandemic basically shut down the world.  Technically, organizers say they could have it, but it's not just unfair to the fans and vendors.

We are unable to produce a creditable show that we can be proud of and attendees can enjoy.  Please see us again in January 2024 when inventories should rebound.  Be sure to watch our website as we get closer to 2024.

That said, this is similar to last year's message about the lack of inventory, so let's hope, for the love of vehicles, that inventory will actually rebound next year.  Hey, we know the struggle is real around the globe when it comes to goods and services, so patience continue to be key.
