I was lucky enough to go on a field trip to Stark Brewing Company inside Milly's Tavern in Manchester, New Hampshire.  Stark Brewing is part of Granite State on Tap, which is  a craft beer festival, happening on November 15th at the Expo Center inside the Radisson in Manchester.  Brian, our tour guide, took us through the facility and showed us all of the equipment and explained how they brew beer.  After the tour, it was time to taste some of the different brews they offer.  Obviously this is the best part of any brewery tour.

We tried Milly's Oatmeal Stout, Bo's Scotch Ale, Mt. U Cream Ale, and their World Famous Pumpkin Ale.  Of course they were all spectacular, but I think my favorite is the Mt. U Cream Ale.  It's just a nice light flavored beer that you can drink any time.  I also really enjoyed Bo's Scotch Ale, powerful stuff.

There's a sweetness to it, with a sharp finish.  Perfect for an after dinner sipping beer, not so much for a Sunday afternoon of watching football.  Any of their beers would make a great choice, they are all fantastic and you can tell these guys work hard at their craft.

Thanks to everyone at Stark Brewing and Milly's Tavern for letting us hang out for a bit, we had a blast.  Looking forward to sampling your beers again at Granite State on Tap.

Stay tuned for the video coming soon!
