Looking for a Unique Wedding Venue in Massachusetts?

Did you know that you can get married at the iconic Kowloon restaurant on Route 1 in Saugus, Massachusetts?

I called the Kowloon and spoke to a lovely woman, Lillian, who confirmed that yes, you can get married there, but they don't provide the officiant.  There is a minimum of 50 people, and they will provide four hours at the restaurant with a buffet of delicious food, and staff to help you and your guests. And that price includes everything. Tip, taxes, everything.  The Kowloon even has a dance floor so you and your betrothed can have your first dance.  All the prices that you need are right there on the website at kowloonrestaurant.com.

Bridal Showers?  Birthdays?

I didn't ask Lillian, but I suspect that you can have any special event there that you want, like a bridal shower or anniversary.  I know you can have birthday parties there, because I've had one there in the past.  I come from a big Irish Catholic family, and there must have been about 40 of us there at the time.  They were very accommodating, and I've never seen so many crab rangoon in my life.

Rent the Kowloon Food Truck

Not only can you rent out the restaurant, but the Kowloon will also come to you.  You can rent their food truck for $600, according to their website.  I'm assuming there is a limit on where they will go, and I also assume that there is a minimum number of people that you expect, with each person paying for their own meal.

Have you ever been to the Kowloon?  If not, you gotta go.  They don't call it "iconic" for nothing.
