When I travel to other parts of the U.S., I always come home with a yearning to go back to my favorite restaurants.  My heart wants to visit Chef Bobby Marcotte's Iconic Tuckaway Tavern and Butchery in Raymond, NH or the Common Man in Merrimack or there's no stopping that craving a mudslide at the Puritan Backroom in Manchester.

New Hampshire Has Delicious, Iconic Eateries

In this list, you will find the best restaurants in the State.  For example, the Common Man, with several locations throughout New Hampshire like Portsmouth, Manchester, Concord and Merrimack.

The Common Man used to serve cheese and crackers for their customers who were waiting for a table.  What a great idea, I thought!  Until I kept eating the cheese and got too full for dinner.

Politician Chris Pappas is part owner of the Puritan Backroom in Manchester, NH and I swear, he has won elections in the past based on the food they serve at the restaurant.  I'm sure he had lots of things to say as a politician, but I just wanted to ask him for more chicken fingers and a mudslide.

The Tuckaway Tavern & Butchery is World Famous

The Tuck is a mile from my house, so, I'm there a lot.  Mostly in the Butchery, if I'm honest.  I'll go to pick up steak tips, apple bacon sausage and bangin' macaroni salad just for a weeknight dinner.  I know, how spoiled am I?  Very.

Here's the complete list.  Where did I forget?  Is there an eatery in New Hampshire that you think is iconic and it's not here?
