There’s a quote that I love from Angela Schwindt: "While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."

That’s certainly the case with 15-year-old Teddy Decker.

According to their post on Facebook, The Dover Children’s Home first encountered Teddy four years ago. He wanted to drop off $500 worth of donations he’d collected with help from his family and friends.

Fast forward to today and the kindness continues. The Dover Children’s Home posted that they barely recognized the young man who stopped by with over $2,700 in donations, but it turned out to be Teddy!

The donations will be used to help improve the lives of the children currently being cared for by the organization.

The post generated lots of comments including one from Nadine King who said “each of us can make a positive difference in a life…in a family…in the world.

We couldn’t agree more. Way to go Teddy!
