2 Boston Restaurants Make Top 100 List for Best of 2024
People here in New England know that Boston has world class restaurants and now two of them are being recognized by the prestigious Open Table, and you could have helped.
When you give a review for a restaurant, that may carry more weight than you imagine it would.
Each year, Open Table takes the reviews from restaurant patrons to find out where the best places are in the entire country.
Silver Dove Tea, Boston, Massachusetts
Not your typical restaurant, even for Boston.
Silver Dover Tea is a proper tea eatery with a set menu and fixed pricing. You will be given a variety of finger sandwiches and desserts. Their menu changes seasonally, as any proper tea house would do, every two months.
Not to worry if you are gluten free or not, everything on their menu is gluten free.
The cost isn't too much for any eatery, never mind a Boston place. It will cost you $48 per person for food and a pot of tea. If you want a glass of wine or a cocktail to go with that, it will cost you $56. There will be a 15% administration charge to all bills, so you don't have to figure out tipping. Easy, peasy, proper.
Silver Dove Tea strongly recommends that you made reservations and don't just walk in, ya filthy animal.
Krasi: Meza & Wine Bar, Boston, Massachusetts
"Elegance with an edge."
Greek food is one of my favorite types of food in the world. It's similar to Italian, but the spices are a bit sweeter and I think there are more vegetables with Greek food, in general, but you could set me straight on that.
Krasi, according to their website, literally means WINE in Greek. If you take a look at their website, their food, of course, looks fabulous, but it's more than just the pictures that will make you try this place.
There is an "edge" to their pictures. There's a picture of a woman who broke a plate, but is laughing and having a good time. That's my kind of place.
As with any restaurants that has received accolades from Open Table, I would call first to make sure they have a table for you.
