21 Surprising Things You Probably Didn’t Know These New Hampshire Libraries Offered
If you're like me, you could get lost in the library. I have a curious nature, so when I look at the rows and rows of books, I get an overwhelming feeling of, "what's this?" or "what's that?" Truly, I could spend hours and hours in a library.
What I didn't know though, was how many things we, (you and me) could borrow from our New Hampshire town library aside from books that have nothing to do with reading at all.
Take the Concord Library, for example. You can borrow a paper shredder for those occasional "I have to destroy the evidence" moments. No judgement.
Maybe you're thinking that you want to plant some potatoes, but you don't know how your soil is. The library has a soil analyzer.
How about a Backyard Birding Kit. There's one for you to borrow, for free.
There are some libraries that are better than others. For instance, I would be here for days if I had to list the amount of stuff that the Dover Public Library has. There are pages and pages of stuff for you to choose from.
The Concord, New Hampshire library is pretty awesome too. So much so, I would check the library first if you need anything before you head out to buy it.
Check out the stuff at these Seacoast, NH Libraries:
- Concord, New Hampshire Library
- North Hampton, New Hampshire Library
- Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Public Library
- Rochester, New Hampshire, Public Library
- Dover, New Hampshire Library
- Exeter, New Hampshire Library
The smaller towns may be limited with their selection, but I bet you could donate some cool stuff for people to borrow.
Happy Hunting!
