Social media can be amazing sometimes, especially when we all agree that boozy hot chocolate is one of God's gifts to humanity.  Can I get an Amen?

Recently, on the Facebook page, Seacoast Eats, a member asked:

"Where in the Kittery or Portsmouth region can I find a fun and fancy hot chocolate for my kiddo and maybe a boozy version at the same place for myself?"

There were many suggestions that served hot chocolate, but not the boozy kind, and vice versa, so, I've chosen 3 from the list that serves both.

Cup of Joe Cafe & Bar, 31 Market Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire

This place has anything you want.  A full array of different kinds of hot chocolate, espresso and coffee.  They also have famous espresso martinis, which, in my book, is almost hot chocolate with booze.  But if that's what you are really looking for, Cup of Joe can put anything into your hot chocolate and top it off with whipped cream and a cherry.  Their food is also very good.  Locally sourced and delicious.

The Friendly Toast, Portsmouth, New Hampshire

The Friendly Toast in Portsmouth will always have a place in my heart.  I said that even BEFORE they got a huge menu of delicious drinks.  This place definitely has hot chocolate for the kiddos and a delicious drink for the adults, "Coconut Caramel Coffee," made with rum, Irish Cream liqueur, caramel and iced coffee.  Oh yes, it comes with whipped cream and a cherry on top.  God love ya, Friendly Toast.

Go Big or Go Home at The Goat in Portsmouth

This just sounds amazing.  The Goat in Portsmouth, (maybe all their locations) has a drink called, "Caine."  Basically, it is described as a coffee martini with chocolate, whipped cream with a coffee cake garnish.  It serves 4 people.  For the love of GOD, that sounds amazing.  Of course, the Goat has regular hot chocolate for the kiddos.

One more thing;  More than one person responded with Fizzy Wigs, 112 State Street, Portsmouth.  But, according to their website, they have limited hours and I couldn't find the menu with the boozy hot chocolate.  I would like to know more about this place, it looks cool, from what I can see.
