4 Legendary New Hampshire TV Anchors We Miss Watching
New Hampshire is a small state with only one major, local TV station, WMUR, a/k/a Channel 9. Anchors like Josh Judge, Amy Coveno and Fritz Wetherbee are not on our newscasts any longer and we miss them. A lot.
At one point in the '80's, we watched a beloved weatherman, Al Kaprelian, on WNDS in Derry, New Hampshire who people still talk about to this day.
Al Kaprelian on WNDS in Derry, NH Was The Best
People just loved Al and when I say, "people," I mean my Mother. She thought he was the funniest guy on television. When WNDS was sold and eventually went dark, Al never made it to our TV again.
Here's another gem from Al's broadcast. He used to shout out birthdays. It was small town TV, for sure.
Amy Coveno Was a Bright Light on WMUR
I just loved Amy. She was always friendly and fun to watch. Her weekend broadcasts always put a smile on my face. Amy was/is exactly how you would expect her to be. She feels like your friend when you talk to her. Miss you, Amy!
Josh Judge is Now a Real Estate Agent
Josh has had many lives. He's been a radio broadcaster, an author, the Weekend weatherman for WMUR and now, he's a real estate agent. Josh was always fun to watch too.

Fritz Wetherbee is Done Telling Stories
At the end of Chronicle on WMUR, Fritz would always tell us, "the rest of the story." For me, Fritz marked the end of my day. After his broadcast, I would crawl into bed and hum to myself; "there's an old fashioned home in nh...." Put me to sleep every time.
We miss you, Fritz!
Who is your favorite NH TV personality that isn't on anymore?
If you say that you miss that Traffic Lady who used to chime in on the morning broadcast every half hour or so in 2017 or 2018-ish, I wouldn't be mad about it. #itwasme #ididthat #makeupat4am
