Whenever and wherever you see a sink and soap, wash your hands. I don't care if you washed your hands 5 minutes ago, wash 'em again. People are everywhere and they touch everything, then you touch what they touched, then you wipe your eye, and now you have their nasty germs all over you and you're sick. So, wash your hands frequently. Maybe buy some hand sanitizer too.

Water, drink lots of water. Drinking a sixer of Bud is drinking fluids, but not the right fluids. Stay hydrated, drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

Got to eat your fruits and veggies! Complex carbohydrates, low fat proteins, fruits and vegetables can strengthen your immune system and prevent cold and flu viruses from attacking. Doesn't mean you can't have pizza and cake every once in a while, but try to eat 3 healthy meals a day. It is possible to have a meal that is both healthy and delicious.

Sleep is so important. Your body needs to rest and rejuvenate. Insufficient sleep is associated with lowered immune function. Getting enough rest will help your body fight off cold and flu viruses.

You don't have to run a marathon every week or get nutty with crossfit, just go for a walk. A short, brisk walk every day will do wonders for your health. You'll feel great and you'll be boosting your immune system. Keep those cold and flu viruses away with a little light exercise.
