Sometimes, February is the snowiest month and this one seems to be one of them.

Here in New Hampshire, we just had around 6-9" of wet snow on Saturday night into Sunday and now, the forecast says more snow Wednesday into Thursday .

According to the forecast.weather.gov, it looks like the Dover, New Hampshire area will be getting cloudy on Wednesday night, then during the overnight hours of Thursday morning, the snow will start to fall.

The snow will continue, then turn into rain by late morning.  The afternoon looks cloudy, but then the sky clears up by the evening.

According to the Weather app, accumulation should be 5-6".

The old stand-by, The Farmer's Almanac says that the snowiest periods of this Winter will be in mid-February, (now) and early March.  It sounds like we are getting a two week hiatus in February before it kicks up again.

Apparently, this is just a snow appetizer for the week.  Looks like are going to get another foot or so on Saturday night, into Sunday, according to the Weather app.

We were talking about the cold here in the office and we all agree;  if it's Winter, it's nice to have some snow around.

I did see a lot of kids with their parents outside this weekend with their sleds.  One of my fondest memories of growing up was sledding down this huge hill we had in our backyard.

The only difference from then until now is that we were on those metal sleds that went 100 MPH down the hill and just got icier and icier with every run.  By the end of the day, we were really taking our own lives in our hands.
