The old Tedeschi’s convenience store on Central Avenue in Dover is closed and will soon be re-open as a 7-Eleven store.

While growing up in Virginia, 7-Eleven stores seemed to be on every corner. It's where I bought my Topps Baseball cards and Bubble Yum bubble gum.

But the chain hasn't infiltrated New England nearly as much.

To the best of my knowledge, there's one in Sanford and Kittery, perhaps I'm missing a few.

And the chain is not done. Shortly the Tedeschi on Back River Rd. in Dover will be re-branding as a 7-Eleven as well.
