Adorable Piglet Abandoned in Massachusetts Looking for a Forever Home
Would you just look at that face? How could anyone resist not bringing her home?
According to FramingHAM Police Department, a little piglet was recently abandoned, leaving her feeling hog-tied and alone. Someone, a Good Samaritan, called animal control for assistance and she is now being cared for.
The piglet, now named Magnolia, according to an article at WCVB.com, won't be available for adoption for at least a month.
Magnolia is now at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, and she is getting ready to oink her way into your heart. Whoever ends up with this beautiful girl, they can be assured that life will never be BOARing.
According to my Grandfather, a Farmer in Milford, New Hampshire who used to have pigs, they are clean animals. They only roll around in the mud to stay cool and to prevent sunburn.
You can now make a donation to care for Magnolia while she's getting ready for her forever home just by clicking here.
I am not a vegetarian, however, I hesitate eating pigs specifically. According to humansociety.org, pigs are smarter than dogs and have the same cognition as a 3 year old human. This really hit me when I watched the movie "Babe,"
The voice of Babe, by the way, was played by voice actor, Christine Cavanaugh who also did the voice of Chuckie Finster in the Rugrats cartoon of the '90's on Nickelodeon.
I am hopeful that whoever adopts Magnolia, that she will have a long life, far away from the butcher shop.
