The rock anthem 'Eye Of The Tiger' that was blaring at her celebration was not agreed to by the band that wrote it and more trouble may soon follow.

Kim Davis had quite a rally yesterday as she exited prison after spending six days in a Grayson, Kentucky detention center. Unfortunately, she came out to the song "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor without permission.

According to this article in Billboard, Survivor member and the song's co-writer Frankie Sullivan is adamant that he DOES NOT endorse the viewpoint of Ms. Davis and loudly decried that permission to use the song was not granted.

It should be interesting to see how this drama unfolds in both Kentucky and between the band and Ms. Davis as TMZ is reporting that Survivor may sue over improper use of their song.

I'd like to finish by mentioning that we play this tune all the time on The Shark and have been given full permission by the band to do so whenever we please.
