Beloved Long-Time Exeter, New Hampshire Business Closing Up Shop

Aw, Man. Another business is closing its doors after 16 years of making people happy, not just selling their products but by being wonderful human beings, this Exeter business is closing their doors.

Tommy and Teresa Hemingway, owners of EZ Bikes and Scooters, 61 Exeter Road in Exeter, NH are retiring.

They made the announcement on their Facebook page.

You have been a fixture in Exeter for as long as I can remember … ( and I cannot remember you riding anything other than a bike ) Even as a youngster… popping wheelies all the way down Franklin St. or Water St. We wish you and your wife the very best in your retirement… keep us updated on your adventures.

So many others like Ken Cooper and Julie wished said that they will be missed but wish them a happy retirement.

I had visited the shop several times, just looking and asking questions. Each time, I never felt pressured, always felt welcomed, and was treated like family.

Tommy and Teresa sold AutoSounds of Exeter years ago, but kept the bike shop, but now it's time to close and take some well deserved time off.

I know the owners well, especially Teresa. I consider her a good friend and one of the best people I've ever met. If you go in to see her while her and Tommy are still at EZ Bikes, call her "Tilly." She'll love it and know exactly who that came from.
