The Fire Chief of Hampton, Jay Lord, cited 2 phone calls that have been reported, one of which used the name firefighter Kyle Jameson who lost his battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

According to NH1 news, chief Low said:

“I think it’s low. All these stupid scams, you just go, ‘Really can’t you go find a real job?’(Jameson’s death) was so publicized in the news that these scammers are looking for any kind of an angle,”

Chief Lord suggests that if you live in Hampton Falls and get a phone call from people requesting donations, hang up.

As the chief pointed out, scammers often use a crummy tactic like this to ply on the goodwill of people and their generous spirit.

Low-life creeps if you ask me.
