Cab drivers nationwide are not pleased with the regulations they have to adhere to while those running Uber and Lyft rides are not held to those same regulations. They have a legitimate beef. They have to pay for registrations and insurance and their competition does not.

Cab drivers claim they are losing business and want legislators to make it the same for everyone.

I feel bad for the cab drivers. On one hand they have a point, but I feel like blocking traffic only hurts their cause. If I am a regular commuter in Boston, the next time I need to pay for a ride, I'm looking for someone who didn't make me late for work.
