Ford Motor Company has started a nationwide campaign called the "Ford Focus on Hunger Child Peanut Butter Drive" seeking donations of peanut butter (a nonperishable food item loaded with protein and vitamins) for children in need.

The drive came to New Hampshire to benefit the state's food bank last month and several dealers including Autofair in Manchester stepped up to attempt to fill a Ford F-150 with peanut butter jars to benefit the food bank.

In a press release from the NH Food Bank, "We could not be more pleased and gratified by this outpouring of support from the business community,” said Eileen Liponis, executive director of the New Hampshire Food Bank.
