Craft and Artisan Show Coming to Hampton in November
There are many things I like about Fall. The cooler weather, the walk through the apple orchard, hot apple cider, apple pie, the falling leaves, (cue the music, Jazz Cats) but there is probably nothing that I enjoy more than the CRAFT FAIRS of the fall. OH! It means that the holiday season is on the way and I can usually get some really unique, cool gifts for my family and friends.
On November 21 and 22, the Great New England Craft and Artisan Show is coming to Hampton at the very spacious Rim Sports Complex, 311 Winnacunnet Road in Hampton.
I can't be alone in my love of Craft Fairs. These aren't your Grandmother's fairs either. Every time I go to one, I will usually find someone selling honey bee products, organic produce, freshly jarred jam and many other delectable goodies.
If you are an artist, there is all kinds of inspiration at a craft fair. I paint on anything I can get my hands on, not just canvas and I love getting new ideas at the craft fairs. I ALMOST signed up for this one, but they don't have any room for any more artists. I could go on a waiting list, but I'll wait for a bit.
According to the application for artists, there will be over 100 JURIED artists there. (Juried means that they know what they're doing.) Artists of all kinds offering great products like scarves, glassware, jewelry, wood products, metal art (a personal favorite) clothes and the food! OH! The food and drink sounds amazing. Chocolate, martinis, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate craft beer, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!!!
There will also be live music!
All of this at a safe distance.
