David Lee Roth Coming to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire This Summer

It makes total sense that David Lee Roth is coming to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on August 13, 2025. The venue is used to having the biggest names in the music business perform on their stage, like Ray Charles, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix.

If you grew up in the '80's, there were few names that were more famous than Diamond Dave. Maybe Michael Jackson, but not by much.

David Lee Roth helped shaped the sound of one of the biggest, most influential rock bands of all time, Van Halen.  He was the original vocalist and to this day, he remains, some fans favorite.

David Lee Roth is the Ultimate Performer

You don't even have to have seen him in person to know that Dave is the Ultimate Performer.

Regardless of all the discord with Van Halen, fans of the original lineup with Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony had been screaming for a reunion for years before Eddie passed away.

Eventually, the reunion did happen in 1996, but it was short lived.  The reunion happened again in 2006.  That time, Van Halen managed to stay together for one of the highest grossing tours of all time.

The Man Never Stops

David Lee Roth never stops.  He is an artist, voice over actor, author, I could go on and on.  He is constantly creating.  Sometimes he creates drama, but hey, he's not the first artist to do that, by far.

The Name 'Van Halen' Was Dave's Idea

When Van Halen first got together, their name was "Mammoth," however, there was another band who already had that name at the time.  It was Dave who suggested the name, "Van Halen."  He said it sounded powerful and powerful it was in so many ways.

When I think of the breakup of the band, I can't help but be a little sad about it after all these years.  But when I really think about it, I lived at the same time as this once-in-a-lifetime talent and I'm grateful for it.
