Remember when Ron's Landing closed in 2022?

The owner of Ron's Landing was retiring.  We were all hopeful that another restaurant would take its place, however, that just didn't happen, so, the building at 379 Ocean Boulevard has just sat there for over three years.  Now, the building is being demolished to make way for ocean side condos, according to newsbreak.com.

Ron's Landing Was a Great Place for Any Occasion

Ron's Landing, as it stands now, is a restored home built in the 1920's, according to their website that is still up.  It had lovely atmosphere with two floors.  Downstairs was a more intimate setting and upstairs was the lounge and dining tables.  No matter where you sat at Ron's, the view was as good as the food.

The Developer Is Looking to Upgrade the Entire Area

Louis P. Minicucci, Jr. is an alumnus of the Harvard Graduate School of Design.  He has developed over 2,100 units of housing in New England and in Southeast Florida, all according to his Company's website, Minco Development.

Minicucci has big plans for the space where Ron's sits now.  Ron's will be demolished sometime before the end of the year.  There are plans to build 2 condominium buildings.

The first building will have 10 three bedroom, 3 bathroom units that will take up 5 stories.  The 2nd building will have 3 four bedroom, 4 bathroom condos that will take up 3 stories.  Each unit will come with covered parking on the ground level.

The entire Boulevard in Hampton is getting a facelift. As much as I hate to see places like Ron's go, this sounds like it's going to be some really gorgeous places right on the beach.  Hopefully, they will be in our price range.  I'll keep you posted.
