When I think about David Lee Roth, I think of my childhood, loud music and MTV.

For me and millions of others, he is best known for being the original lead singer of one of the best rock bands in all of its history, Van Halen.  Some would argue that he was the best one, but you decide between him, Sammy Hagar or for a brief moment, Gary Cherone of Extreme.

David Lee Roth will be coming to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.  It is labeled as 'sold out' on their webiste, but there are still a few tickets left - just click this link for Ticketmaster to find them.

3. Van Halen's original name was Mammoth, but when they found out it was already taken, it was David Lee Roth's idea to call it Van Halen.

5. He is most well known as a singer, however, he can play guitar pretty well too, but ... nothing like Edward.
