Did You See This Meteor Streaking Across The NH Sky Wednesday Night?

What appears to be a huge meteor lit up the local sky Wednesday night. WMUR has a nice compilation of videos taken from many who witnessed the fireball and may I say, it is ASTRONOMICAL!

Even though the flash was very impressive, the likelihood of any residual evidence of this cosmic event hitting the ground is very small.

Compare and contrast this fireball with the one captured by local cameras back in May and be thankful for both their entertainment value AND the fact that they dissipate before reaching the Earth.
