Do You Think You Could Pass the New Hampshire Drivers Test Today?
Could you pass the NH Driver's Test today?
If you want to find out, you can take this "easy" practice quiz.
To quote Rainman, "I'm an excellent driver."
The New Hampshire Drivers Test Has Changed
Like everything else, things have changed, and so has the test.
I'm convinced that some of the questions are to trick you, but maybe that's just me trying to make myself feel better about not knowing every single one in one second or less.
What are some types of questions on the New Hampshire driver test?
Some questions are super easy like, "What should you do if you come upon an octagon sign?" The answer of course is "Stop."
Or what about this one: "When stopped behind another vehicle on a hill, you should stay back at least... how far?"
I got this one incorrect. I said two car lengths. It's actually one car length.
I also got this one incorrect: "In New Hampshire, what is the recommended minimum following distance behind the vehicle ahead of you?"
I said two seconds, and it's actually four.
"While driving on the highway, you should signal at least _____ feet before you turn."
This question was tricky. I got it wrong,
My answer was 400 feet. The correct answer is 100 feet.
Even if you feel like you are a good driver who doesn't tailgate, or gets mad when someone cuts you off, you might not get every single question correct.
Give it a go and tell me how you did.
